Underfloor heating

Разбира се. Ето целият текст на английски, оформен професионално: Underfloor Heating Underfloor heating is a very popular heating system today, whether for new construction or renovation projects. In the past, it was considered a luxury, but today it is gradually and steadily replacing traditional radiators and air-conditioning systems. What you should know before deciding to install underfloor heating -Heat losses are influenced by many factors, including the quality of the insulation, the thickness and materials of the walls, the size and quality of the windows and doors, the number and size of windows, the orientation of the building, the ceiling height, and the condition of the roof. - The spacing between the pipes is extremely important. The distance between the pipes determines how evenly heat will be distributed throughout the room. In practice, it often happens that underfloor heating pipes are installed roughly or “by eye”. This can later result in some rooms remaining too cold while others become overheated. -Special attention should be paid to areas along external walls and in front of large windows or glazed surfaces.** A smaller pipe spacing is recommended in these areas in order to compensate for higher heat losses and the penetration of cold air. - Insulation beneath the heating system is not an option; it is a necessity.** Professionals should clearly explain to the customer that insulation is not an optional component, but a mandatory part of the system. No compromises should be made regarding the thickness of the EPS or XPS insulation. Above unheated areas such as garages and basements, thicker insulation should be used — often **more than 10 cm. On intermediate floor slabs between heated floors, a thinner layer is often sufficient — typically 2–3 cm. The customer should also be informed about the correct operation of the system: - One of the biggest misconceptions among underfloor heating users is that the floor in the house should feel hot to the touch. This is not only incorrect, but can also be harmful to health. Unlike radiator heating, underfloor heating warms up the room **more slowly**, but the heat is retained for a longer period of time. - Customers often make the mistake of increasing the temperature sharply in an attempt to heat the rooms as quickly as possible. Another common mistake is frequently switching the system on and off. Underfloor heating is designed to operate steadily and efficiently, maintaining a relatively constant room temperature rather than providing rapid temperature changes.
